Pebbles are a common feature in the urban environment, but remain a product of nature. Pebble shapes and sizes vary and can’t be predicted. The name ‘pbl’ is a derivative of the word as the object encapsulates the brand's essence.
pbl is a bag line to equip users to explore their urban environment. Each bag in the line includes a transformative feature to prepare the user for unexpected events while out in the urban landscape.

Sometimes, we come back home with more things than we left with.
Having some extra room to carry these newly acquired possessions is always sought after
concept
The bag is designed to expand and shrink according to the users needs, removing the need to carry more than one bag while out and about
Prototypes
Two prototypes were made to get to the final design.
The first prototype was made to scale, using fabrics cut by freehand. The second prototype was made full scale and used to create the final pattern.

The final design features two hidden pockets on each side of the bag to hold belongings such as phones and wallets.
The zipper acts as a decorative and functional feature. The zipper allows the bag to expand in order to hold extra items
